Founder: Christy Rivers "More than art—it's healing, joy, and connection."
Devine89Creations was born from my personal journey with art as a tool for healing. While working as a Resident Advisor at Mississippi Children’s Home Services, I began drawing for the children in my care—many of whom were dealing with emotional challenges. I watched how art brought them peace and joy, and in the process, I discovered it did the same for me. Art became my escape, my coping skill, and my happy place.
Years later, while working at Bank of America, I filled my desk with artwork, simply creating to get through the day. Co-workers would stop and ask if I sold my pieces. I didn’t at the time—but that planted the seed. During the COVID-19 lockdown in 2021, I turned that passion into a plan. I started making art kits, did pop-up shops, and slowly built the brand you see today.
Devine89Creations now offers mobile paint party experiences, custom pre-sketched canvases, DIY canvas kits, hand-painted jackets, and personalized doormats. My goal is simple: to create fun, creative spaces where people can relax, connect, and heal—just like I did.
This isn’t just art—it’s an experience, and I’m here to share it with you.
